They all said I had a great
sense for color and all, but nobody wanted that. I even submitted to
colleges that I didn't want to go to.
At last I lucked out and went
to a meeting with a community college art teacher. She really liked what
I had to offer. She gave me the scholarship that I had only dreamed
about - BUT - the same day I got a call from a local business asking me
to come to work for them. (non-art type of work).
So... There I was - stuck
between a rock and a hard place trying to figure out if I wanted to go
to college or start my life now and sell my art on the side.
Well - to make a long story
short - I took the job. Woe is me.....
